Promoting Economic Pluralism (PEP) is launching an accreditation scheme to identify, recognise and encourage university masters programmes that take a pluralist approach to teaching economics. PEP advocates for the mainstreaming of economic pluralism – recognising that there are multiple ways of thinking about, teaching and doing economics, with a focus on critical reflection and real world economic issues. By establishing this accreditation scheme, they hope to support the many educational institutions around the world that are already offering students pluralist economic teaching, and encourage more to follow suit.
